It's been a while since I saw this at the theaters, and I don't remember if I thought it was predictable...but I do remember it not being scary. I know I went onto the website before hand, and listened to what they said were actual recordings, and THOSE I thought were creepy as hell...but for whatever reason for me it just didn't translate onto the screen scary.
But then too...I'm not sure there's anything out there that would scare me anymore :(
White Noise - (spoilers)
I caught this on tv tonight. Whoever said it was predictable and not scary is A LIAR. Catherine's spending the night next door and I about lost my mind when the dog barked to go outside. I threw my pillow I was hiding behind and yelled at her for scaring the shit out of me.
EVP = is crazy shit. The ending was...eh, but it had quite the build up. He's not just seeing dead people in his tv, he's seeing the future and he's being guided by his dead wife that was murdered. There are these 3 shadows that keep appearing in the tv transmissions, telling him to KEEP OUT and to basically stop fucking around with their shit. Very very odd, but I thought really well made. Creepy ending.

yeah this was very scarey.. cause I kow EVP is very real. The ending was.. ehh.. but damn the build up scared the crap outta me. WQhile yes I scare super easy, it was still great build up.
X used to hang out with a couple people who did this and he's played some tapes for me they made in houses people say are haunted.. spooky shit.
