Ticker Repair

Hi Ya's,
Just a quick note to say I made it through the open heart surgery and came out with a mitral valve repair. The surgeon stitched in a small plastic band to stabilize the valve opening. I was hoping to have a repair done instead of a replacement for various reasons, one of which is to NOT set off alarms every time I go through airport metal detectors....On that note it is almost to the point we will need to undress to get through the scanners due to the increased security measures.
And what's up with little or no carry on items?

Anyway, just wanted to say thanks to those that expressed concern, prayers and good wishes to me and my family (you know who they are....). Also, a very special thank you to Roz for the lovely bouquets she sent.
