You may need to just make a rectangular cake, freeze it, and then cut out a hammer shape.

Need help with cake =)
My cousin's husband is graduating from carpenter school. I like to make fun cakes. I put the two together and i'm making the cake for his grad party next month.
I'd like to make a cake in shape of a hammer. Theres no pans for this of course ( you can get a pan of a fricken tractor tho) so i need some ideas! I found one halfass picture of a hammer cake online that doesnt help and it looks ugly.
people make cakes in the shape of toilets for cryin out loud but im havin a hard time with a hammer. No thor hammers, tools!

I don't cook, but I just wanted to say, if you put lots of alcohol in the cake - after you guys eat it and are drunk, you can say you got hammered!

If you want to put booze in it, poke holes all over the top with a fork then just drizzle it over then freeze.
