steve irwin ( croc hunter ) dead

this was a bummer. he cracked me up, but what i really loved was how he got people interested in what he was doing, especially kids. i thought for sure if anything took him out it was gonna be a snake. so did not see it being a stingray...

I saw on the news last night that Discovery has the footage of him being killed and actually pulling the barb out of his chest then dieing a few seconds later. They said they would not release the film but now the family is actually saying that they want it released because he would have wanted it to be seen. Wierd.

=/ I was really hoping they wouldn't show that.

odd - i would have thought they would have wanted it shut down, but i think i can see where they're coming from...
