THE BUZZ: May Jason Statham never pull a Jet Li and retire from doing action movies. His latest feels like a hot fix of Speed and Run Lola Run, and we think his audience, which has grown in numbers thanks to the two successful Transporter films, will send Crank to the top of the box office (for Statham's second #1 opening as leading man). Writer-director Mark Neveldine is a stunt/visual effects guy, so we can only imagine that he's going to use Statham's endurance and the streets of LA to his best advantage. Will we see more of Chev Chelios? We're not saying ....
