Open Season

This is the funniest kid movie ALL YEAR. We went to it on sunday and honestly I didn't have my hopes up too high. They showed the same dang preview over and over again for months and I fully expected to see the preview parts being the ONLY funny parts, but holy cow, this movie was funny.

I'm not a huge Ashton KutchersleepingwithDemiMoore fan but he was friggin hilarious int his. He and Martin Lawrence did a great job together. Poor Boog (Martin) is a domesticated bear. Debra Messing is the ranger that he lives with. Ashton is the buck Boog runs into in the beginning, strapped to the hood of Shaw's (Gary Sinise) truck. Without giving the good parts away, I'd definitely go see this one again and you know me and kid's movies. Most I'd rather poke my eye out with a ball point pen than see again.

I tend to gauge how funny a movie is by how hard Mike laughs. Seriously, we'll be watching something and I will be CRACKING up and he'll just kind 'heh' a little, so if he's full out high pitched laughing, I know its funny. There were at least 3 parts where he clearly high pitched laughed so yes, this movie was funny.
