Didn't care for it.. typical hollywood summer fare.. lots of explosions and cgi and zero story.. maybe watch it with the sound off and skip the last 5 minutes..

I'd have to say that Scarlet Johansen comes VERY close to replacing Angelina Jolie in my lesbian sexual fantasies.
Lincoln 6 Echo (Evan MacGregor) and Jordan 2 Delta (Scarlet Johansen) live in a contained world that has survived 'the contamination'. They are almost child like in their awareness and have everything restricted for their protection. There is no doubt but hope in that some day they'll get to go to 'The Island'. The last uncontaminated area on the planet. Suddenly Lincoln starts to question everything and his unnatural human curiosity opens his eyes and forces he and Jordan to run.
This is almost like Logan's Run...without giving it away, it's actually a really really great movie with some spectacular special effects. Scarlet Johansen is insane hot in this too. O_O

There's only been one movie that I think has a spectacular ending and that's Constantine, but I'm sure there's 100 people who'd disagree with me on that one. I usually don't like Evan MacGregor either, but he's cluelessly adorable and then friggin hot at the ending.

I'll be honest, you just might be the only person I know who called this "a really really great movie." I honestly didn't think it was possible to advertise so much in one movie, but I was wrong. Almost every shot had some product placement going on. In fact they stopped trying to even make it subtle. I can't remember which beer it was (I havent seen this movie since it came out in the theater) but they just have the guy put the beer, label first, right in front of the camera. It was the laziest thing I have ever workmanship I have ever seen. I'm not even sure there was a story. All I got out of it was product, product, product for 90 minutes. Did this movie even have a studio backing it?

Armageddon 2, Independancde Day 2 ?
Scarlett has a nice wrack thats about it. She is not in the same league as say a Kate Beckinsale who can look so good that no matter how bad the movie is (Van Helsing) you dont feel like you wasted your money.
I will have to pass on this one until it hits TNT or TBS.

yeh, back in the days of our young summers Scarlett and I used to grab our still-damp towels and head for the lake out back behind the small copse of trees that comprised our back yard...
I'd tease her by calling her names synonymous with the color...'Hey, Vermillion!" or "color-of-a-baboon's-ass" ...she didn't like being called that last one...
I'm just glad she finally listened to me and had BOTH that hairy mole on her elbow and that 3rd nipple removed...I tell both those things used to freak me the hell out!
Can she be the next Angelina Jolie? well, if she decides to adopt 3rd world country orphans and bang some studly guy but never actually marry him, sure.
Can she do action movies? As long as there are good stunt doubles to make it believable I don't see why not. As long as it's her ass we're seeing in that see-through dress, then I don't really care.
