Stranger than Fiction

The premise is an odd one:

Harold Crick's life is turned upside down one day when he hears a voice seemingly narrating his life.

And yet, the movie, while not quite phenomenal, is extremely well done. I was honestly impressed with Will Ferrell's acting as a 'straight man' in this film.

Excellent supporting by Dustin Hoffman and Queen Latifah.

The 'gimmicks' included in the movie to illustrate some of Harold's propensities may seem obtrusive at first but I found them quite enjoyable.

The soundtrack however was rather unremarkable.
