This style of art...

Would it be considered vector? X says he's heard it called raytracing, but it seems vector to me so we're not sure. What would be some good references for places to start learning to make these?

website of the style : lookerland.com (some pics NSFW)
specificly the black line style pics.

Danke =)

OMG CUTE SITE. Looks like vectoring to me, but honestly I don't know what ray tracing would be. Very cute, very hot!

It looks like vector to me as well, but like Roz, I don't know what ray tracing is. I love the little nipple covers she put on all of them, those made me giggle.

Raytracing is a style of 3D rendering.

A program called PoV Ray (povray.org) does ray-traced renders.

This looks like vector. Its possible that the person is doing it in photoshop or paint shop pro instead of illustrator or the like, in which case people have taken to calling those Vexels since they aren't infinitely resizable. Some 3d programs let you render in a black and white style so its possible X saw some of that where someone called it Ray Tracing.

thanks y'all =D He's really interested in learning to do that style but we weren't sure what is *was* so he didn't know where to start looking for tutorials.
