BORAT

Wow...this is quite possibly the most inappropriately funny movie I have seen. First off, I had some half drunk asshole sitting next to me talking and laughing like a jackass through the entire movie. I was half in Mike's seat by the time it was over. Little comments like, 'Oh no, WOW, you get em' and shit. People were turning around, looking back at him and I could not get far enough away from him.

The movie though - wow. Ironically there were jew jokes, which he apologized for at the end. 'We don't do the jew run anymore - it's not nice'. Not even going to spoil that one but it wasn't that it was racist, it was the meanderings of a stranger foreigner with very strange habits. Like when greeting people, he'd only kiss the men...and on the lips. That was real fun to watch lol. Some of the reactions of the people were hilarious - which were mostly them telling him to get out and that they've called the police.

This was a perfect example of how a comedian, with the right presence and skill, can pull off those really touchy subjects and make them hilarious and with only a little guilt on your part for laughing. =x

I've seen him on talk shows...not my type of comedy.

Well the age group of people in the theatre were surprisingly in their late 30's and up. Not one kid on a saturday night and it was maybe 1/3's full or so. That really surprised me.
