WoW - Where to hunt?

Where would y'all suggest for a couple hunters level 15 & 17 duoing to level up at? Alliance side.. So far we've been hunting on the coast in Darkshore and it's nice but I was wondering if there was a faster way? We both want 20 ASAP. The self only speed boost will be nice. Not to mention I wanna be able to level up my fishing again damn it *pout* Need to be able to use my expert fishing book but it requires L20 grrr....

Im actually at 17 myself and it scares me because thats the highest level any of my alts have ever gotten to. Luckily I am on the Mil server, er Argent Dawn, for my alliance paly so there is some encouragement and assistance.

I did all the offered Westfall and Redridge quests and now am clueless. One recommendation was head to Darkshore. Perhaps you should try out Westfall? Sure its on the wrong continent but it could be fun to venture there. Though the Barrens should also hold some experience for you as well. Well, that zone directly north of it. Dratted Alliance, I dont really know as I normally play horde.

I tend to do a lot of travelling with my 'kids' in the high teens.

After finishing the Westfall-based "The Defias Brotherhood" chain up to 'escorting the traitor' I tend to head to Loch Modan or Darkshore/Auberdine to get a bit more rep in their respective factions, or if I started in those newbie areas I'll head along to Redridge and do quests there. It also ends up getting me some good experience, at the same time. This generally takes me to around 19/20 when I go back to Westfall to finish "The Defias Brotherhood" to slay Van Cleef. (There are five quests for this instance, 6 if you're a paladin at level 20.)

I only ever quested once in The Barrens, when my mage was around 18, doing some of the pirate-slaying quests right out of Ratchet.

Ashenvale (the zone north of Barrens/south of Darkshore) is more of an analogue to Redridge on the Human side, so 18+ would be a good option for that. I personally hate the zone because of the sheer amount of back and forth and back and forth and back and... well you get the idea.

Yep - gotta agree that Westfall is a good switch for Darkshore, and Redridge is close by too.
