I had four migraines over the weekend (one of which I'm exactly certain of the trigger, the two following have two possibilities each, but I still haven't figured out Friday's)
The tree is decorated completely.
I have half my holiday shopping done and less than a tenth of the money I needed to do it with. (Gifting for my Dad is so difficult considering his handicaps.) I need to get Dad out of the house to go 'shopping' for his gift for my sister (he picked her for Pollyana this year) but he hasn't been feeling so hot lately.
Work is definately dead though our network is up a bit more than Roz' and I have a friggin' huge poinsettia on my desk.
What's up with you guys?
So work is dead, my work network has been down about 15 times, my car battery died...again, we bought a new entertainment center and about enough crap for 5 dozen sugar cookies but you can't find red springkles anywhere in the city of anchorage, this is the first week I haven't felt like throwing up since my food poisoning, I have a lot of xmas artwork to do, I don't know what to get Mike for xmas, Catherine is spoiled and I'm watching the Fog for the 100th time.
That's just in the past 3 days =x

About to take off after today until the 27th to use up my vacation, so I am franticly trying to get everything ordered for everyone. I haven't gotten a single present (except something I commissioned for X) but since we can't afford to buy anyone anything now I don't have to deal with *that* at least. Which super sucks since our 15th anniversary is Thursday and our trip idea was squashed. Been tired, still worn down from being sick a few weeks ago and all the stress I had while X was sick.. I'm just exhausted really. I'm mad at myself since Christmas is my favorite time of year and I'm just not feeling it. And lots of people at my work feel the same way.. Hard to feel in the spirit when it's 70+ and muggy as hell. There are no decorations out around my house.. ugh, actually I will probably be spending my "vacation" catching up on stuff around the house that fell behind when we were sick. And we're going out of town to stay with my Uncle in Austin for the weekend with my Mom and Sis, so I'm stressing about leaving my babies (animals). Stress stress... i am sooooooo ready for x-mas to be over.
Oh and /rude to EFrontier and Daz and RDNA and Xurge and and and.. everyone...! for comming out with the new stuff during the holiday season, and having such good sales. Damn bastards. I want.. so I've been glaring at my computer a lot and surfing their sites contantly adding and removing things from my cart.
Have I mentioned I'm in a very UN-christmasy mood? bah humbug.

I haven't posted in a while but reckon I'd keep you guys updated on my comings and goings (in case you're still interested).
My whole family has been sick on and off again all month. Today we found out David (in addition to his cold) has an ear infection in both ears. The little monkey hasn't even been complaining about anything. Daycare costs have been kicking our ass so we don't have any "extra" to play with which is somewhat upsetting because I like spending money. I have, however, been enjoying the holiday party season...best thing about Christmas is the number of parties imo. And since I'm not pregnant this Christmas like I really really was last year, I'm having a particularly good time about it.
Work has been good...I started working with a new team in August and I get along with them really well...but it's busy as all hell and between work and taking care of David I've had almost zero time to myself to do things like play WoW and do any art...I fear my skillz (such as they were) are gonna disappear.
Altogether though, life is good. My body and mind is somewhat repaired from the pregnancy though I suspect neither will ever be exactly the same. However we're enjoying David so much that we might even do some looking into baby #2 in a few months...gotta figure out the daycare costs first though :)

Hmmm...
Went to the movies this past weekend...did some Christmas shopping though this year I have it easy cause we're not exchanging gifts with the family in Canada (mutual decision). So I have my daughter, mom, and grandma to buy for, and a couple friends, is all.
House has been decorated since the weekend after Thanksgiving, I'm only working 4 days this week...my daughter will be back on Thursday night, and staying until the evening the day after Christmas...only have one more present to buy...
I'm totally in the holiday spirit...no one around me is sick...the weather has been freaking icy - with a low last night of 27...all is good in Shayland :)

Shopping is done thanks to Amazon. I need to take my pics in someplace and print them to mail to my family. I got a whole 4 holiday cards into the mail today, yes I am slow.
We have a tree, but its undecorated yet. (Small 3foot potted live tree that will end up in LB's parent's yard.) I dont have the urge to cook, anything even though I have the fixings for good stuff. There are several things I would like to find time to make for people, scarves & hats for friends, bead watch for Angel, cookies or truffles for coworkers and a winter coat for me. But so far, I am just kind of meh.
Oh, and I got sucked into GuildWars due to a free key code email. Damn you NCSoft! *shakes fist* My Elementalist/Mesmer is 10 and my Monk is 3. hehe My WoW priest is 51 points into Shadow and awaiting the expansion to melt faces. My WoW paladin is 23 and in need of instance/dungeon fun.
My life is pretty boring, I feel like an Apathetic Lizardman.

Jeremy finished Soccer this season, his team didn't win a single game, but he got a trophy, and that's all he really cared about anyway. I'm looking into getting Jeremy ice skating lessons.....so he can grow up to be a hockey player. Also looking into pee-wee football.
Stephanie and I adopted a cat from the pet store (short haired calico named Jasmine, but I call her Jazz, and she's 7 months old.) We spent too much money on Christmas this year, even though we told ourselves we weren't going to do that.
I don't have a lot of time for art anymore.....this makes me sad. Hopefully soon, I can get some arting in. I don't have time to learn the 3D stuff, but I think I'm going to start on some new random pieces soon.

umm shopping and wrapping presents. getting used to joey being gone half the week. planning and executing Gavin's pre k Xmas party. ummmm more shopping and wrapping presents. showing my 27 yr old nephew how to jump his car. hanging out with my mother in law. umm shopping and more wrapping of presents. yea thats about it...oh catching wild crazy kittens that claw the crap out of me and fighting with the punks that moved in next door whose loud music annoys to the point of anger. jeez i'm old.
