eeeeeeep!!!!!!!!! but i am sure hes alive still!!!

Almost every Marvel character has come back at some point.

By now, I don't think there's any single Marvel character that has actually STAYED dead.

I read they are working on a Cap movie. This would be an excellent way to reboot the book with a modern flare, get fresh readers and get rid of a lot of convoluted back history that can intimidate new readers from picking up a new title to try. And look at SUperman.. they killed him once too. Didn;t stick =)

Tupac is alive, I'm telling you. Nobody could be dead for 10 years and still be putting out hits!

I would be very, very surprised to see this last that long. I give it a year tops. I'm sure his "death" will be one of two things.

1. It actually was Steve Rogers that was shot, but because of the super-soldier serum and his previous hibernation his body just shut down while it attempted to repair his body.
Or
2. It actually was an advanced life model decoy, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Life_model_decoy, that him and Nick Fury used to get him out of the spotlight and work behind the scenes in regards to the whole storyline that this death is derived from.

Needless to say I'm sure that it will be even more :shrug than Superman's return.
