Hello!

Interesting place you've got here. Seems the lunatics are in charge of the
asylum. Which is precisely the kind of place I like.

Allow me to introduce myself. I am a resident of the soggy Pacific
Northwest, father of two, husband of one, hopelessly addicted to computer
games and Poser. My lurking on the City of Heroes fanart forum inevitably
led me to deviantART, which inevitably led me here. I instantly recognized
that this place would do nothing to alleviate the symptoms of my Poser
addiction. But then, I'm not exactly seeking recovery, am I?

One of the things that has struck me from browsing around this site is how
very far I have to go with Poser. I have a lot of fun with it, but I have a
lot to learn. Seeing some of the really nice pieces that have been posted
hereabouts, I feel both humbled and inspired.

I will be posting an image or two in due course, but in the meanwhile you
can see the few pieces I've done so far at
http://sartoritangier.deviantart.com. Any comments, suggestion, advice or
constructive criticism would be more than welcome, either here or on dA.
I'm eager to get started on that path toward getting my work at least closer
to some of the pics I've seen. At the moment, I'm most curious to know how
I can improve the sharpness, clarity and overall quality of my renders. But
would eagerly gobble up any advice you might have on composition, lighting,
posing, postwork or any other topics that comes to mind.

I will now return to browsing, perusing and otherwise lurking this very
interesting place. I have a feeling this could become habit forming...
