i love that pose. suggestive without being blatant. kind of... sad? thoughtful? reminiscent?? without the face hard to tell. the suggestive part would be the missing hand... (yes, i have a dirty mind!!)

can't wait to see the next phase!!!

Lol, hand is on her ankle, I swear! The pose is based off Linda Ravenscroft 'Dark Eyes' Fairy, I have a tiny pic in a book and like the pose so trying to display Jet in that pose.

I think her leg looks a little short - I'd bring her knee up to about halfway up her upper arm. Form looks good, her shoulders are quite nice - might want to part her hair a little so you can see both.

i'm not a freehander but something about her ear seems off to me.. may be too high or the shape.

Something about the area under her left arm bugs me a bit. It just seems, eh... off?

Otherwise (along with the other suggestions posted already) it seems to be coming along fairly well as a basic framework for the piece.

I love the pose and over all shape. Would it bother you if I pull it into photoshop and point out some areas to fix? Over all I think you have the proportions pretty close and it's on its way to being a really pretty image.

the suff on her waist is cos in the pic I used as refence the figure is wearing a dress thing. Also, have made her leg a little longer. Ear is fixed too.

I'm just fighting with the lips atm and i'll post next stage.

The drawing looks good, though some things look a bit off proportion wise. The hand that is on the shoulder appears too small for the width of her shoulders and the size of her head. You might want to look at the lower half of the bent leg. It appears too thin. Here is a link to Linda Ranvencroft's page. The larger image might help you see the proportions better.

Her left shoulder is a little long giving her a more manly shape. A woman's body has narrow shoulders and wider hips (yay for birthin' babies) granting her a more curvy than angular figure. Also, bring her waist in so that she's curvy and less boxy. Her legs need to be connected at her bottom. Imagine an upside down heart, her legs are going to connect to the curves of the heart

I love her eyes and face, she's very very pretty. The hair is going to look great too. *nod*

I love hair, I could draw hair all day lol. Going to try sort her shape later, I might even try doing it in PS instead of paper o.O

And why are horses so much easier to draw than people? lol

Ok...I like, completly redrew her (except her face, cos its a fluke that its that good) and she's about 2 stones lighter for a start lol.

i think you're right about the left arm. seems a bit smaller than the other, shorter.

Hmm, Its same length, I just think the upper arm is a bit skinny? But what I can't fix I will hide under her glorious hair

Oh and the hand is labelled because on the last draft my guildies were asking what she was doing with that hand...so I've drawn it in lol

I coloured her all in then thought, that looks crap so started again using a different method lol.

Oh and I know her eyes a weird, I'm not finished with them yet.

Jet! keep doing what you are doing with the coloring, what you have so far looks really good. I love her lips and the eyes are going to be lovely when you are finished.
