Is there a way to change the ui color too, oh goddess of poser?

you can change the background easy by just clicking on it when you have the bucket tool selected...
the rest is not so quick, lots of graphic editing >.> so not fun. I did it once with Poser6, but havent bothered w/ Poser7 yet.

Ah ok, I won't mess with it then,I'm frustrated enough with it not working with vista as it is.

rightclick your poser.exe and find the compatibility option and set it to windows XP ?

Yea I tried that but it didn't change the problem. All I was getting was a grey screen when I loaded a figure, if I expanded the window I would see the figure, if I moved the camera it would all go black. I was messing with stuff and trying to figure out how to fix it. I switched from OpenGL to SreeD(or wtfever its called!!) and that seems to have cleared it up. Between then and now I've learned I have no chance what so eva of upgrading my laptop. Funfun.

Yeah I hear there's been lots of issues with Vista and Poser 6.. Luckily I have vrsn 7 but that doesnt mean I'm in any rush to get Vista. But I feel its inevitably happening since my computer is giving me attitude. The crash and burn is just around the corner. I can feel it in my bones :/

i finally got Poser 6 to work with Vista, but 7 simply freezes whenever i try to open a new figure. *pout* figured i'd wait awhile and try the forums again, see if there are any new suggestions, but i hadn't thought to chage the OpenGL to something else. have to give that a shot... (course, my #1 priority with the new puter was getting EQ2 to run - and that took over 2 hours and some serious tweaking with Vista - before downloading the updates.... i hate microsoft....)

If I had it to do over again I would have just stuck with XP. Changing it to the other settings cleared the issues then I just switch to OpenGL to render, kind of makes it a pain in the butt but beats the shit out of not having poser.
