SMMO is another artsy siite. www.studiommo.com where allot of us came/come from. Started out of gamers that all shared a common interest, art. So, there is allot of gamers and alot of art dealing with MMOs and the like hehe , They are more PG rated because of the younger people and all vs here where we can post

Yeah SMMO is a pretty nice place, however it's typically a better for beginning artists. Very informational.

yep i'm talking about SMMO the link i was given. it doesn't draw me in and you cant view anything really without being a member. Whereas here its colourful and i recognised names of people who post..... there nothing *frowns* I even tried visiting there again, to see maybe if i missed something, and the website wouldn't even load......

The cross posted in the title thing doesn't bother me so bad. I have seen far more tacky things done. Putting a link to another art forum instead of uploading it on a host somewhere and linking that instead has got to be the height of rude in my opinion. (Deviant Art doesn't count to me because some people use it as their art host. It just happens to have a community attached) But in the past I've seen someone just post a link to another board where they posted their artwork and description because they were too lazy to type that all out again. (copy and paste was apparently even too difficult) So they made everyone on one forum who wanted to see and comment on their image go to another forum to look at it.

Being a member of multiple forums is useful. Putting the fact that you are a member of other forums blatantly and needlessly in the face of the staff and members of another board is bad manners. ;)
