They did that in EQ1 also. Its not really surprising.

Yeah, new expansion in Everquest 1 coming out in November also and the level cap is going up to 80.

el sigh that means wow will also up the level cap ><
Thats one thing DAoC did right they never raised the level cap and once you had a max level toon you could create a alt that was already level20.

Originally, the level cap was going to be 100. but they decided to have at 50 to begin with, to leave room for expanding.
