If they had just rereleased the exact same game with the expansion and updated the graphics, and used the more advanced hotkey system I'd have been content

I just hope starcraft 2 has heros in it. That was such a nice feature they added into wc3. IMO. It doesnt look like it is going to though.

I'm hoping it doesn't - they were really great in WC but SC is more of a bigger battle feel. I won't mind if they exist, but I hope they mean less, in WC a good hero could really mess some shit up - that shouldn't be like that in SC. I wouldn't mind minor ones that were story important with some tecnological upgrades you could invest in, but nothign that's gonna takeout an army.

Anyone have inside info on a release? Cause until I hear otherwise expecting 5-6 years But at least it's coming!

Doesn't it say October 2007 at that site? Or did I mis-read?

It said in the FAQ that they don't have a set release date.

I am ashamed to say I've never played the first one (was more into Diablo II), but this looks really freakin' sweet regardless.
