Data Recovery Services?

Anyone got any suggestions here?

My tech came out took the external which has ALL my work and programs are on, today.
Said looked like there was a power issue and fried everything. Might be able to get the data off from a service, he suggested all the Brittish places but I am not going to pay double the amount just because the pound is so much more powerful then the friggin' dollar! >(

Need a good service worthy of my trust =( /cry

Cost isn't really an issue I just want my work back and all the other stuff I put on there. Just don't want to pay double the amount it would cost me to send to the states to get stuff ya know?!
