A baby!

Thank you all. Sorry for not responding until now. I was in the hospital for a week and barely had the baby to myself for a day before my in-laws showed up for the following week. My computer time was severely limited and it felt like my bedroom was the only place I could have any privacy so I pretty much holed up in there during my recovery! :p

Eve -- only reason why my labor lasted so long was because I was overdue so they induced me for a natural delivery, but nearly 48 hours later, I still wasn't fully dilated/effaced enough to deliver. I was having horrible back pain because of his position on my spine -- I was ready to cut him out myself by the time they decided to go with a cesarean instead! The nurse left the pitocin on, which gave me unnecessary contractions to deal with while they waited for the first available slot for surgery. Grraaaah. He was worth it all though! ;)

Chubby? lol And here I was about to mention his long, thin legs! Whatever, he is adorable.

Look at those cheeks! You make it sound like chubby is a bad word! LOL I luv me some chubber bebes! He looks so much older than just 2 weeks, that's a strong, strapping boy there!

Awww he is so cute! I was a couple weeks or so late and being induced too hon. Can't believe they made you go two days before coming to the conclusion that it wasn't gonna happen. I would have been ready to cut a bitch for sure if I'd gone any longer. Of course once I got that epidural, I didn't really give two shits about much at all. Contraction? What contraction? *blissful sigh* LoL

Love your expression Beli...and at least you don't look like you just spent two days in labor. The pics they took after I had my daughter have been hidden away. I look like I'd just been dragged twenty miles behind the back of a bus, in the rain :P

Aww that's a pretty picture of you and James! You look a little pissed off in that first one lol, but then I would be too after 2 friggin days!

OMG, why can't they stay that little and cutsie.....ready for another! (ok, ok, mine's not even a year old yet @@)
