How not to divorce your wife

A 50 something Iranian guy I work with came up with a novel approach to divorcing his wife, that I thought I would share with you married people.

A few years ago when he decided to divorce his wife, he bought her a plane ticket to go back to Iran to visit her family. When she returned to the US a few months later, she found that he had filed for divorce and sold their house and moved. Now this seems like it might be a foolproof plan, however it did have some unforseen consequences when the female divorce court judge found out and decided to award his wife alimony. Which he complains about to this day. So gents when the time comes to get rid of that aging ball and chain, make sure you get a false identity and move far away before your unsuspecting wife gets back from the "old country".
