Best buy has ALL the season packs for sale - $19.99. I picked up #1, #4, and $6 - anything beyond 7 was blech anyway.

I <3 the X Files and it was easy for me to get hooked on this series.
Im glad the original cast is gonna be in this movie.
I wonder how big of a hit it will honestly be? Its been what, 6 years now since the series finale? Im just glad I get to see some new X Files content heh...I also have all 9 seasons on DvD.
I liked season 8 and 9 btw -- I thought John Dogget and Monica Reyes (she was hot btw!) added a new dimension to the series but it was clear that Mulder wasnt around =(

I couldn't watch 8 and 9, new things make me cry. I absolutely loved the earlier ep's, the whole conspiracy storyline was good but convoluted after a while. I did like how they resolved Mulder's sisters death. That ep really brought Moby out of the indie scene too.

im not sure how good this will be without going into the real x-files storyline. seems like a shallow attempt at resurrecting something that died a glorious death and should be left alone, just to make a buck. maybes its just me.

Meh I didn't like the ending so much - far from glorious for me, but I'm a die hard MSR'er (mulder/scully romance). I'm hoping it shows more of their relationship and at the same time I hope they still have the same aloofness with each other. /claps!

Yeah geez I really did not like it when they brought on the new people. I couldn't see through it at all. I stopped watching when Scully said she was pregnant to Skinner to be honest. I was die hard up until that point - which I think is when I started playing EQ =x

The series should have ended at the end of season 7 when Mulder was abducted in that space craft in the spot where the series started with the very first ever episode.
Alot of the plots up until that point were already finished and done with (We found out what happened to Mulders sister) so the finale at the end of season 7 would have been perfect.
Seasons 8 and 9 had some good stand alones -- However, they got away from the Alien Conspiracy somewhat and focused more on developing Doggett and Reyes and of course, Scully's baby's storyline where she ended up putting him up for adoption. You can kind of tell they started running out of ideas toward the middle of season 9 and it started to drag along until the series finale.
The series finale "The Truth" at the end of season 9 was kinda fitting imo -- It ended like any regular X Files episode would where Mulder was sorta left stumped without knowing what he came for etc etc.
This movie here is suppose to pickup where The Truth left off.
And btw -- Skinner didnt get Scully pregnant =D it was a forced pregnancy done by the military.

One of the best shows regardless if your a scifi fan or not and I am looking forward to the next movie. I enjoyed most of the 8 and 9 season as well. Though I'm a big fan of Robert Patrick.

I always loved the shows that showcased the humor between Scully and Muldar. Those were usually stand-alones, but extremely entertaining.

That's not what I meant. I know he didn't knock her up, I'm talking about when she told him she was pregnant while she was in the hospital.

Was it 6 or 7 - or was 7 the one where she found the ship on the beach? I forget now, but I loved that blue dress she wore on the beach. :teehee

end of season 6 leading into season 7 (was a 3 parter that ran into season 7) was when Scully found that space craft on that beach with all that biblical writing on it in Navajo language.
