Saw this last night on PPV. Is it me or does Donnie Wahlberg always play a cop? It's a story about an old ventriloquist woman who is exacting revenge through her doll Billy. She was murdered and ... well she's not happy about it.
I have to say, for as shitty as the acting is in this, the special effects and overall creepiness scared the piss out of me. Basically when you scream the victim gets their mouth like torn open and tongue cut out. So of course the trick is not to scream. The make up on the old lady was downright freakish. In her will she stipulated that all 101 dolls be buried with her and that she herself be made into a doll, seams down the side of her mouth, doll eyes - the whole bit.
Nice twist 'but I saw it coming' ending for gross factor.
