What part of Jersey do you live in again? I'm remembering there being, like, -one- decent place to eat within 30 minutes of us when we lived at McGuire AFB :\. Of course, it's been a long time.
http://www.mastoris.com/ = good sammiches.
Columbia, on the other hand, is so chock full of good restaurants that you could avoid chains altogether if you wanted to, though once in a while we like an old standby. They're building a Cosi's here, woot! I bitch about hating this town a lot but I have a hard time arguing with the food.

Christ, I better clarify. Someone who has SEEN this plate in person, didn't remember it was mine. So let me say, THIS IS MY PLATE!
I forgot, GEEZ!!!! He is actually this freaking tall and I have actually seen this plate in real life. I snorted loudly and made fun of him. Then he bought me dinner at Olive Garden =D

Maple Shade. Exit 4 off the Turnpike, or 36B off 295. The list wouldn't be much different if I counted from near home.
Those I listed were from my work area, Gibbsboro.
McGuire has changed quite a bit in the last 6-8 years. It's still remote as flock, but civilization is encroaching more and more.

ugh - where I work is a completely different story - Quiznos, Subway, McD, Taco Bell, Carl's Jr., Del Taco, Jack in the Box, Panda Express, and Nugget Market is it. However, when we move offices in December, a whole new world will open up! WOOT!

When we were in downtown anchorage we had a bunch of nice places to those grandma deli's to choose from. Here it's the same as Den - KFC, McDonalds, Long John SIlver, some chinese place, donuts...I don't even bother. I eat a bologna sandwich or cereal for lunch now. =(

Right next to us is Taco Bell, McD's subway, quiznos, dominoes, Austin's Pizza, Pizza Hut and they are building a Taco Cabana. Not too far away is Panda Express, Salsaritas, Papa John's, Jersey Mike's, Rudinos, Wendy's, Sonic, Jonny Carinos, villiage inn, and a gigantical H.E.B
Every thing but the Wendy's, Subway, and Austin's Pizza were built with in the last year or two.

Around my work we have some food options. Luckily we also have a cafeteria in the building but outside we have: Taco Bell, 3 chinese/japanese w/ sushi places, Roly Poly, a Deli, a large grocery store, an organic (turkish) grocery store, a small health food store, Dunkin Donuts, Starbucks and two or three restaurants.
I have eaten at 2 of the three sushi places, Taco Bell once and Roly Poly. I typically bring food, eat at the cafeteria or get sushi.
