Poser Pro

Hmm. I'm not sure if this would even be of use to me / most people who don't work with high end stuff. I'd wanna see a lot of examples of the finished products just using Pro. And price.. that's gonna be interesting to see how they position themselves considering they have to compete with Daz|Studio which is free. It looks like they're trying to allign themselves as a higher end tool than D|S...

The only thing that really catches my eye is the built in Quidam, or whatever it's called. Went and looked at how it morphs and seems pretty damn easy but then again, the pros always make stuff look easy lol.

I guess it will be too expensive for "normal" users... although the little rendering on the Page looked promising.
I can't even get skin to render the way i want it in DAZ, so i'd like to see what Poser 7 or Poser Pro can do... if anyone has a hint for that, i'd be grateful if you'd let me know.
@FyreGarnett
I ditched Vista from my Laptop again... it's too slow, even in 64Bit, went back to XP Pro.
110 Euros down the drain... damn !!!

jade.. when rendering skin do you use the PWSurface plug in? It, or even some of the freebie shaders available, make a HUGE difference. Have you tried one of the skin packs with preset D|S settings? those are not bad either.

at the Moment i can't afford to buy anything from DAZ... although i'd definately like to get my Hands on PWSurface.
I use USMP in DAZ at the Moment, it delivers some good results, but still not what i really want... although a render i have made looks a little better after i applied the displacement maps to it.
