Depth of field question

2 yrs later and I figure out Poser has the option. :bag I'm sitting here waiting on my picture to render (I'll post it when it's done) and asking myself... Is it worth the hassle of the longer rendering time? I could have rendered the background in 3 separate pieces and just used the damn blur in photoshop by now.

How many of you actually use the depth of field option when rendering, or do you just prefer to postwork that sort of stuff later?

/goes back to patiently wait for stupid render to finish

this took forever to render. :cross

Magelo version - made for no one in particular. Its one of my pre-made, 'buy me now' magelos folks can buy.

Portrait version just because she's so damn cute! (large image)

poser's DoF is absolutely worthless.

unless you have 4 days to render

Gorgeous! I specially like the portrait version because it's a bit brighter than the magelo. As for DoF in poser, I think I tried that all of once before I said fuck that! LoL Takes too long and I'd rather just tweak it in post by hand to be honest.

Yeah, my final thought it screw it. Postworking in any blur is a lot faster. Don't think I'll be using DoF much. I will admit it gives a good looking effect, but blah..too damn long to wait and I'm an impatient person!
