This guy just didn't want to STFU and listen. I finally had to say, very firmly, that I understood exactly what he wanted and I'm trying to help him and if wanted to calm down for a moment I'd give him the instructions he needed. What a dumbass. I'll turn on the southern charm for anyone but I swear to god my tolerance for assholes is evaporating

at previous jobs, all the time. not so much here. here, it's the spoiled ones i have to shake my head over and who frustrate the bejeezus outta me. it's so bad that there are actually people who are over 50 around here that when i tell them "no, you can't have that" actually go to someone else to try and get it from them - who then come to me and get the same speech. WTF??? my 2 year pulls that shit - and will (hopefully) grow out of it given some time!
