If your uncle and I buy wow, we probably wont go to IceCrown. We have buddies on another server, although I can't think of the name now. I'd make on on feathermoon to hang out with you though =)

So far im season 20 (in rp terms) RP is hard. In a good guild I guess we got our name out there for being "evil and violent killers of innocent"

They fixed by not selling any more WoW accounts. All shelves are barren in all retailers as far as I can tell in our area.

ProsecutionEQ2 cuz when the servers are down I am not nearly as pissed as having to wait in a 543 person long queue to log on to a server to play.
I thought they fixed that.

They are doing a patch in the next few weeks that customizes the armor/makes the armor look good. I'll do it then.
Right now I look like an ogre wrapped in tinfoil that just came out of the oven.

WoW > EQ2 just for the PVP id prolly still be on eq2 if i could at least kill others, oh and i also like my games w/o memory leaks. as far as ques go, the longest ive ever had to wait was 1 min and i play on skullcrusher one of the highest pop servers. sux i havent been able to do anything the past few weeks tho, since i now live in the boonies far beyond the reach of dsl and cable companies.. but im making due with this wireless isp. - btw pros i got my copy of WoW before i left MD, got it at a gamestop over in columbia like 2 mins from the columbia comp. they had 1 copy left, lol. i spent a whole day looking for that damn game.

My husband and I both beta'd EQ 2. We saw the same grind again and were turned off to it pretty big.
I started playing WoW in the first open beta. I accidently signed up for two OB accounts due to website error, so I had my husband "try" one. He had swore up and down he'd NEVER try WoW, let alone any Blizzard product.
Needless to say, 7 months later, and we are both still playing. My rogue is 54, and his paladin is 52. Both of us seem to have found the love of the game we had back when we started playing EQ1. That new awe of not knowing whats around the corner. We also both got really burned out of the high end raiding obsticale course, me more then him. We like how we can l og on for an hour, get an hours worth of exp, or finish a quest, ect, and get a reward that is usually equal to the amount of time/effort you put into it. EQ never had that feeling really.

I've played both games now. In EQ2 I got to 50, got my prismatic weapon and quit the game 2 days later. While I will miss the actual story behind Everquest, the game has really lost alot of its oomph for me. It seemed like the player base completely changed from EQ to EQ2. The raiding became frustrating for me since they saw fit to change the encounters on a weekly basis. What we fought and won one week we may very well be beating our heads against the next.
As for WoW, it is tough because I game into a guild full of level 60s. The only way I've really leveled up is by friends making twinks to play with me. I made a hunter to begin with and got her to 34, then realized I am way too social to be soloing all the time. So I made a priest and I've really been enjoying her. When my friends are around, we group and when they're not I can still find mobs to solo. I'll admit that the leveling grind is a little old after all of these years, but I am just anxious to get to 60 so I won't need to do it anymore.........until they raise the level cap! The only thing that really bugs me about WoW is that the average age level seems to be a little lower than Everquest. Some people can be pretty disrespectful and it's way easy to grief. Even so, I figure that I will stick it out with this one as my last MMORPG hoorah!
