Am I a prude...
Because this kind of picture offends me?

I'm sorry, but the girls in these pictures look like my ELEVEN YEAR OLD daughter... from the neck up. It really makes me sick to see grown men creating things like this; I get the feeling that faeriewylde is being inundated with pedophiles... I actually made mention at one point regarding a freebie set that was offered for Laura that is basically a street corner set that comes with HUUUGE SPIKED HEEL SANDALS... just actually mentioned that the sandals would be great if they were flats, and got replies stating that it's just art, it doesn't really MEAN anything, that I'm being ridiculous, etc... bullshit.
I visit there less and less just because of this stuff that's cropping up. Lovely that they mention that it's "nudity" in the subject line, and some of the nude stuff is tasteful and artistic. Then there's the stuff that makes my gorge rise. Is that stupid and prudish of me?
Thank you, by the way, for letting me spout. It's been on my back burner for a while, and it steams me; mentioned it to Sabby and she seems to feel the same way about them... :)
So I will do what I tell anyone...I won't look, comment, or support it in anyway. :)
I'm certainly not looking to censor anyone, by any means, and I'm sorry that you can't see the pics I linked (none of the others will allow a direct link). It just totally grossed me out, and I was feeling like I was the only one who felt that way; I thought this would be the safest place to ask a question like that. I didn't really feel like being dumped on over there for censorship and having it turned around on me that I have a sick mind for thinking such things about stuff that's "not real life, it's just 3D art".
I just get the heebie jeebies when I see girls who are obviously young, due to lack of boobage, yet they're all dressed up in stilettos, and sheer outfits...*shudders*
EXACTLY. My 11-almost-12 year old has just barely started developing, and I can EASILY see her in place of some of those pics... gives me nightmares, I'll tell ya.

Personally I like it. Some nudity you shouldn't have to apologize for. Hopefully y'all get my point on this hehe.
I have to agree.. Never use T&S bodies either lol Just for that reason =/ I donno to each his own. II personally don't like that cuz it makes me feel like I'm peeking in on my daughter in the shower or something like that. While I may see them as that others may see them as pure innocent beauty. Like nekkid baby cheribs? (sp?)
Most of those images linked are characters made for MADDIE which is DAZ3D's : Millennium Kids- Preschoolers or Preeteen packs .........
people prolly think im a perv cause i like nekkid girls. oh well, what can i say. i -love- nekkid girls.
besides, the shock factor of my mom seeing olivia was WELL worth the render time :D
but yeah, these people who use maddie and laura and don't "womanify" them.. make me sick.
awhile back Blackhearted did the COOLEST morph EVER for mil girls2. its called.. something. Nia. gave her a very adult body, a nice corset, panties, and shoes. but it kept her petite frame. i spent damn near $60 for that shit lol. ( i didnt have the mil2 girls so i had to buy them )
if these people did those types of morphs on these little bodies, i could appreciate it, but all i want to do to them now is beat them in the face :/
i visit frequently faeriewylde and i have to say that i was more than once made sick by fishnose images and sometimes comments...the one who posted the second image, laura with butt up and showing...i really dont like this manner
And so is opinion.
And my opinion is pics like the "Oops did I forget something?" picture of the pantyless maid in heels who looks 8 years old, are smut with 0 artistic value - to me. I'm allowed to think it, and I do. I can appreciate that work and creativity went into the piece, but I don't like seeing the end result, and I do/would have suspicious concerns about the mind and motivation that the virtual child-porn came out of.
I in no way imply that anyone has to agree with me, nor do I think my opinion should be enforcible law. Again, art is subjective, and someone out there might enjoy looking at coy and sexy suggestive pin-ups of children; but I don't.
So no, I don't think you're being a prude. And all the folks that gave you static for not liking the work need to remember that speech and opinion is a free form of expression too.
You don't like it, don't look?
Well if ya don't like it, don't read it.
In closing: *snap-snap-snap* You GO, girl!
I am not registered at Fariewylde so the only image I could see was the one that was directly linked here. I think it is very inappropriate to dress an obviously pre-pubescent girl in sheer fabrics. Like many folks here, I am uncomfortable with it. My reason may be a bit different from yours though. As a 12 year old girl going to the theater in Manhattan with my girl scout troop, I was grabbed off the street by a man who tried to drag me down an alley. I shudder to think what would have happened had I not spent years wrestling with my brothers. I was able to break his hold and run away.
Portraying little girls in a manner that makes them look like sexual beings encourages pedophiles...at least that is my opinion.
