Highlander: The Source

I saw this on and wanted to watch SO bad.. but it was half way over. Adrian Paul.. *drools* I don't care too much how bad the story is I wanna see him in action with a sword and if I get something shirtless I'm gonna just squee =)

The fight scenes are sparce and no shirtless Adrian Paul. Its on again Thursday night. Take my advice do your laundry instead.

i recorded it since we had *hmhm* other things to be doing... haven't had a chance to watch it yet though... but I'm with Temp - if I get to see Adrian, shirtless ot not, I'm good. :)

The odd thing is that I've always been somewhat interested in the Highlander stories, but I've never seen a full movie. I always caught bits and pieces on TV at night, and maybe one or two of the series episodes. Whenever I go to a movie rental store, I make a full pass of the new releases, then wander through the genres in older releases that I'm considering renting for the night/week/whatever. Then I go back and pick up the stuff I made a mental note to snag. Several times the Highlander movies have been in that mental list, but every time I end up seeing 2 or 3 other movies that bump them off the "I want to rent right now" ladder. One of these days...

The first movie is a classic. Rent it Vish. It's in my top 5 of all time favorites and Fyre Adrian doesn't take his shirt off. sorry

*sigh* one could hope, dammitall!!!! actually, now i can't remember if he did in Endgame either... had to at some point I'm sure! I love the director's version of the first movie - hte additional snippets of Connor's past "lives" was fascinating. the 2nd should never have been made. DO NOT BOTHER WATCHING. seriously. It will only confuse you and turn you off the whole thing!!! The third pretended the 2nd didn't happen (thank god!!) but I was actually a bit impressed in how they merged the series into the movies with Endgame. I didn;t think they could pull that off with any style whatsoever, but they did manage to pull off something that actuqlly made some sense. I was just thrilled that Methos had a part - of all the immortals that Duncan dealt with, he's always been my favorite!!

Y aknow - I would suggest a Highlander Mafia - but in the End, we know how they'd all die.... *grin*

Highland sequels are like the Matrix ones. The first was legendary, the rest just ruined a perfectly good story.

Hell I might even join in if you guys did a Highlander Mafia :)
