On a country road in Ireland over ten years ago, it was love at first sight for Holly, a lost young tourist (Academy Award® winner, Hilary Swank), and Gerry, a charming local lad (Gerard Butler). Gerard Butler and Hillary Swank. Ok, I was kind of hoping Gerard Butler was going to follow up 300 with something equally action filled - I had heard he signed to do the remake of Escape from NY even - but a romance? Meh - ok I'll watch it because he's fucking hot but Hillary Swank isn't my most fav of actresses. I guess she's homely but beautiful...I dont know.
