Music: Death Cab For Cutie
Gah! I am always a year or two late on these things. I have been hearing a song or two on XM Radio (Ethel). So I looked up the band Death Cab For Cutie.
Needless to say I now own their 2005 (latest) album 'Plans'. Its awesome. I was wondering if anyone enjoyed this band and if so could recommend additional albums?

Transatlanticism, I think, is even better than Plans. They are both good records though. Also, you might want to check out The Postal Service - same front man, but with a more electronica sound.

LOL - my oldest asked me one time what the black thingies were in the closet... then he wanted to know how you were supposed to listen to them in the car....

I have one crate of records from my childhood/teens. Some classics I would never part with.

I still say there isn't anything made today that sounds as good as music played back on a stereo record. I really hate digitally recorded music...it just doesn't have the 'live' quality to it that music in 'my day' did
