Bumbo Seat Recall

Why is it people continue to ignore warnings on things that involve babies? If it says not to use the thing on a raised surface, there must be a reason for that warning, right?? So now no one will be able to use it, and it looks to me like it could have been a fun thing to put a little one in. I know my daughter loved to sit upright, before she could on her own. Problem then was no matter how I arranged pillows around her, she'd wiggle her way through them and wind up on her side, or face :P

I know someone who has one of those, never used one for Catherine - I'm not sure they had them 8 years ago though.

I chalk this up to the same reason that it says don't use hair dryers in the shower. Some people are just not all there. I had been looking at these seats for our soon to be little one. Apparently they are yanking them from the shelves for now.
