Thanksgiving plans?

I am cooking this year, my hubby, who normally doesn't like having people over keeps inviting folks! We are up to 15 people in my very small house. Now, there is a twist. We are entertaining on Friday. The traffic here in the NY area, can be brutal on Thursday. So, on Thursday hubby and I are going to have turkey cutlets, with stuffing inside...I saw it on the food network this weekend :)

I am cooking but am going to serve up the big dinner on Saturday. That way I get 3 days to prep and we can have friends over to help us eat it! So far I only have 5 people eating but intend to invite one or two more. hehe

Apps:
Cranberry Salsa w/ Wheat Thins & Pita Chips
Hummus w/ Pita
Crudites (carrots, celery, bell pepper, radish, olives) w/ vegan ranch dip
Marinated Mushrooms (aww yeah man!)
Artichoke Dip w/ sliced baguette

Dinner:
Soy & Seitan Roast
Dressing
Garlic Mashed Potatoes
Green Bean Casserole
Kale w/ onions & Smart Bacon
Mushroom Gravy
Cranberry Sauce
Rolls (I intend to make homemade)

Dessert:
Pumpkin Pie w/ Soya Too Whip
Chocolate Mouse Pie
Cupcakes (Have not decided what kind, possibly the Apple Cider ones)
Chocolate Chip Cookies
Soy Delicious Purely Decadent Ice Cream Vanilla & Mocha Almond Fudge

This is the first year I won't be allowed to have turkey. So I'm celebrating with Kahlua laced cheesecake.
I am allowed to have the stuffing though so I'm gonna be loading up my plate with that and mashed potatoes.


As to guests.. I'm doing the visiting this year. Taking the kids over to their grandparents since their aunt is in town visiting. I'll probably spend the entire day chasing them around and keeping them from braking the expensive decorations their grandmother likes to keep out. But one trick I like to use to get rid of guests is to for no reason I start cleaning, vacuuming the whole lot. They get the point that I want them to go :)

So we're sitting stuffed and quite happy at Jello's house. She made a beautiful 25lb turkey but because of the baby, i was only able to eat about a 1/4 of what i usually do. Damn baby! So we're sitting around and Mike says to Catherine, 'hey get me a napkin'. Catherine, stands up and goes around the couch to the kitchen when I hear...

'O. M. G.' ( I swear to god she says this now.)

I look over and say, 'what's wrong?'

'O! M! G!'

I attempt to sit up which basically means I slide further down it and I hear Catherine pushing something into the living room in front of us. I sit up and then roll my eyes.

Mike bought her Rock Band...and I'm listening to Catherine sing 'Should I stay or should I go' with Mike on the guitar. I'll be asked to sing in a minute. No pictures please.
