Anyone up for a match? Say, 3 volleys (I do three, you do three), and we post our progress here? I would want to do something that takes no more than a week per turn and would be willing to try even shorter turn arounds. I'm open ended as far as rules go - we can do something with a specific theme, format, etc, or we can do anything goes.

Awesome Jet! I picked out a very basic stock for us to start with - here: http://www.sxc.hu/photo/807277. I'll get started on it today and serve it to you, you can volley it back to me, and so on and so forth. Happy times!
You can use whatever program you like, doesn't just have to be photoshop. Hell, doesn't even have to be a program - you can do traditional media and scan in and use that. You can edit the previous version however you like, and even cover it up completely - though it's more fun when you work with the preceding image imo :X. You can change the size, aspect ratio, and so on.
Oh, and maybe put the round number somewhere in the image?

I honestly wasn't sure of what to do with the starting image - I just picked something very basic to kick us off. I decided early on that I wanted to use that depth and add a little more foreground - hence the in-your-face balloon. I decided it needed some red - at first I thought something really minimalistic, like a tiny red kite in the distance, would suit nicely, but I eventually decided that I wanted to do a little bit more with this first round. I actually remembered Eeyore's red balloon while I was brain storming, which led to getting 99 luftballoons stuck in my head, which led to...well, 99 balloons in the sky.

First I find my tablet is broken when I finally decided what I was going to do on my shot, so went and drew it all by mouse!! and then PS crashed on me and I have to start all over again. Blegh! Will post soon, promise!
