Where'd you learn?

So I reallyreallyreally wanna learn how to texture outfits in Poser. Now, I have nothing but the barest, most basic idea of what the process entails, so I think of that as a good thing; nothing bad to unlearn, right? ;)

I was wondering if anyone would like to share where THEY learned texturing, and whether it was something that was easy or something that's going to make me chuck my computer out the window.... I'm really hoping there might be freebie tutorials available that can help me learn this stuff, since I'm wanting to learn to do this to make money and not be quite so dirt poor... yanno?

So far the most I've done is paint over existing textures and play with shaders in the mat room, so I'm afraid I'm not much help :( I'm good at throwing ideas to Lill when she's working on a new set, but that's about my limit so far lol

I am extremely interested in this too...I have found a few "tutorials" but they did more to comfuse me than to help me...
I would love to learn to make clothing textures

I've toyed around with one or two but again like Eve all I really did was take an existing texture and make something over it so I could use it as a template. The tutorials out there ARE confusing. *sigh*

I wanna know how to make my own morphs and characters as well (opr rather how to save the ones I;ve made to reuse) but making my own clothing textures is probably what I'd like to know most.
