Decent!
Two weeks ago I was semi-hooked on Vector Defense (Unlimited Money) found http://www.towerdefence.net/ <- here.
Addicting little game

I hated the beta version that was posted a long time ago, but now that they made it actually progress with skill trees and crap, I'm stuck playing. Since I can't go back to MMOGs, this sort of thing gets me by.

Yeah, I love that site. I was playing Gem Tower Defense constantly until I realized there was a sandbox mode. Once I abused that version, I finally wrenched myself away from it.

Wow, that one's rough... random tower placement. Ick.
I got to level 15 on both easy and extreme but having monsters cost more than 1 life is just dumb.
I'll probably play it again. :)

I got pretty far by grabbing 2 or 3 each of the Silver and Malachite combos. It almost always gives you the entire set for one of those at the get go. Also helps to make a crazy path for 'em since they always go to the waypoints in order unless forced to pass through a later one to get to an early one. I kept playing Survival until I realized you could unlock the Sandbox mode by beating Extreme.

Bah!
Completely counter intuitive game.
in NO other TD game can you block the path.
If I have to go to a website to look at instructions, then the in-game documentation sucks or the game needs to be less complicated. Bah.

Well, you can't actually block it. You can just detour it. There are a few (I think Desktop Tower Defense was one) that let you place the towers directly on the marching field. If you try to make it impossible to reach a waypoint, it won't allow you to place a gem there.

DTD is like that because there's no pre-defined path except directly across the field.
Other games I've played (Onslaught, Vector, Flash Element, etc) all have pre-defined paths that you cannot block.
I would never have guessed you could block it in Gem Defense.
