I wouldn't put it past Angelina to want to take over the world with her own personally raised army.

To be honest, it just confused me. I thought she was adopting children who were in need of homes badly. Procreating again just means there's one more child that won't necessarily be adopted, provided they really do have a limit on how many they'll raise. Hey, their life -- they can have as many biological children they want. I just thought they were having such a large family out of charity and compassion to those who don't have parents/homes of their own. I don't really care about the two of them enough to read up for clarifications.

I do foresee more "Poor Jen, Angie is living the life Jen wanted with Brad!" headlines.

I heard Ang say once that she wanted at least two of each nationality, so they would have a sibling to relate to...this must be the one for Shiloh.

Well Angie commented before how she felt bad for Shi being the oddball and having no one to relate to so yeah this could be so she has a blood sibling.

i think its nice she wants to have a family. and adopted 2 of them. most people want families and won't even consider adopting 1.

I think its great she adopts, but I'd settle for people taking care of their own kids when they have them instead of all of us paying to take care of them.

Kami heard of people adopting babies and she's been begging me to get a baby from China. I wish I could but I think 3 is my limit. If she has the money to have babies and can take care of them, and she does look to be very involved in her childrens lives, then it can't be a bad thing.

from the looks of it, she and brad are more parental to their kids than any other hollywood parents.

how many other moms/dads do you see picking their kids up from school?

only a few i can name off the top of my head - that's why Jon Bon Jovi is still tops on my list - he does get involved in the kids day-to-day lives and does pick them up from school.

Usurping adoption laws with cash does not impress me. Madonna is guilty of this as well. They should adopt 1 of the more than 100,000 American kids that are in the system every year.

I think people should just keep in mind that everyone's entitled to their opinion and are free to give it - and with that being said, are free to reap the 'rewards' of expressing said opinion. Good or bad. Right or wrong. Chocolate or vanilla.

I don't know/care much about Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie. I will say, though, that it's not just celebrities who use money to bypass the adoption process - it's -everyone- that I know that has adopted from a foreign country. Bribes are part of the process, almost, though of course they are called 'gifts'. Gifts in certain pre-determined increments. Maybe 'deposits'. Because otherwise, things happen - paperwork gets lost, two days turn into two months. Corruption becomes the norm. That's not to say it's right, or that the best thing to do is to just go along with it, but I don't think it's just famous people, it's everyone, it's the whole system. And honestly, I can sympathize. You're in a foreign country, you've gone through months of paperwork, and now you're being held up by some technicality that your adoption coordinator tells you can be cleared up with a fruit basket and an envelope. I can see just wanting to give them the damn money to bring the kid home. Maybe standing on one principle, that of giving a child a better life, makes up for not standing up against the other. And then everyone decides to feel that way, and the corruption stands as a way of life.

Yes I like apple. I am not an apple fangirl, I don't own an iphone, an ipod, a mac t-shirt, or anything beyond my laptop and the iMac i received as a gift. But when all you do is copy-paste newsposts about "omg apple had a trojan" - frankly you're wasting board space for more meaningful posts.

I thought Serg's post were appropriate the forum they are posted in. I don't always agree with what Tyler posts either, but so what? I don't come here for the art and literature stuff so much because I'm not an artist, but I do like to read so I do like that aspect of it. I personally come here for the other sections of the forums. I'm really not sure why Serg is being targeted like this. I kinda thought that his posts were the point of having this section of the furums?

No one's being targeted. No one is being threatened with a ban. I'm a firm believer of skimming if you don't find something interesting. Admittedly I get questions on why Serg is so scathing with his liberal dislike but he was asked why - not asked to stop.
