SK Hit: Food for the fishes
Bart lay staring up at the cloudless sky encompassed by a peculiar peace that comes with knowing that you are going to die. His life was slowing pouring out onto the boards beneath him but his lovely Catfish had borne him faithfully even up until the very end.
He paid no attention to the slapping noises of water on wood but instead focused on his last journey. Soon Bart would see new shores and could that really be so bad?
A voice echoed faintly in the distance, hollow against the vastness of the ocean but still near enough to be heard, which meant its owner was close, very close.
“What’a we have here, A little lost kitten?†The voice laughed at its own joke before continuing, “Not so mean now, are ya, Bart?â€Â
The Captain of the once proud Catfish rolled his head towards the sound of the voice so that he might at least face his killer. Only that was not to be; there was a weighty splush and even over the scent of sea and salt, Bart caught the metallic tang of fresh blood.
Then the voice spoke again.
“The sharks will be eating well tonight, eh, Captain? Who would have suspected that “Mean†Bart would be food for the fishes?â€Â

The ocean held many secrets beneath the ever changing waves. The true fate of the Catfish and her crew would only be known by the guilty few, for soon there would be little sign of her struggle to stay afloat.
Nothing remained but a few pieces of driftwood covered by a piece of red cloth emblazoned with a black cat that arched its back defiantly one final time.
