Round 2 Lynch - A Very Sad Tale

It was a strange situation she found herself in. Tre stood watching the waves as she tried to figure out what had happened. She began this journey in a race for treasure and now she would end it in a final voyage toward death.

It had started in the tavern. The Captains were discussing the recent drop outs in the race. Accusations and suspicions were being tossed around the room. Somehow, her name was among those being shouted. Tre tried to explain to them that she was not that type of pirate, but they didn’t hear her or simply chose not to listen. As the shouting continued, she took the opportunity to leave while the other captains were occupied.

It did not take long for the others to catch up with her sloop. They all seemed to be flying red flags this night. No quarter would be given. The Salaciouswas boarded. Tre fought valiantly beside her crew. The clanging of swords and the rumble of gun fire could be heard for what seemed like hours, but really wasn’t that long at all. The crew of a single-masted sloop was no match for so many other pirate ships, and one row boat.

Eventually the entire crew was slain. Everyone that is, except for the Captain. Tre Morose was tied to the single mast of her ship before it was set adrift. With no food or water, it would be several long days before Tre died. She tried to comfort herself with the hope that someone out there would find her death very sad.

It would later be said that a ghost ship could sometimes be seen in the yellow rays of the sun helmed by a pale androgynous figure.
