God, she's so grown up. I've got the bat picked out to follow her around with to beat the boys off...
People keep saying she looks like me, but I don't see it (other than the Neanderthal eyebrows, poor baby). Maybe it's because she acts SO much like her father it's ridiculous!

How old is she...thirteen? Fourteen? Has she been taking ballet long?
I tried to get my daughter into ballet when she was five...she was terribly pigeon-toed and I was looking for ways to help her there. But she just never really liked it much, and only lasted two years.

She's 12, will be 13 in November (and we know she looks older, that's the scary part!) She's been doing ballet, tap and jazz since she was 7, hip hop for the past 3 years, and gymnastics until last year. Her group's lesson was moved to during the day which is stupid; her gymnastics team went from 12 to 5 because people *GASP* work during the day!
She actually almost quit last year but her teacher convinced her to stay, and now I'm glad he did; she's SO good at it, brings me to tears every time! :love

I almost said 12...I raised a girl and am pretty good at recognizing their ages. I tend to guess on the high side though because at that age they're mortified if you say you think they look younger than they are. *Sigh* I long for those days lol.
