Good lord Spitz was a good looking man - he still is! Very handsome and he was extremely gracious on the Today show about Phelps breaking his record (or that he was about to). He was pissed as hell that the Olympic officials didn't invite him formally to witness it though =x

I think he deserved to be pissed as well. He had an awesome record, and out of respect he should have been invited.

I totally agree, he should've been there. What'd they assume he'd throw a tantrum because he'd been beat?
