T4 spoilers. Well if you want to call it that.

(I couldn’t find a T4 promotional poster - this was kinda cool looking for the TV series, so =p )
Terminator Salvation star Helena Bonham Carter has (SPOILER ALERT) revealed to Sci-Fi Wire that her character in the cyborg-heavy sequel will be a villain.
She said: “I kind of play a baddie, definitely a baddie…I don’t know how much I’m allowed to say, but I’m a very bad person.”

Director McG has been shedding some light on the highly secretive plot of Terminator Salvations: The Future Begins, saying that the clue is apparently all in the title.
He told MTV enigmatically: “Even though we may sin, ultimately we deserve a second chance”, with said second chance reffering to the titular Salvation. We presume the sin he’s talking about is man creating the evil machines, who subsequently punish humankind.
McG said Salvation alludes to the actions of a specific character, with the director mysteriously adding: “Sometimes life is worth living when you make sacrifices so others may benefit.” But which charcter is he talking about?
Helen Bonham Carter was the shit in Fight Club - a little hot, too. I’d be really surprised if there weren’t a bajillion different characters starting off one way but ending up another. The ‘cinematic twist’ has been abused but let’s hope T4 does it some justice.
I’m interested to see John Conner’s character interact with his father - Kyle Reese. They cast Anton Yelchin to play him.

Incidentally, Yelchin will be playing Chekov in the new Star Trek movie due out summer 2009.
