I caught the last 4 minutes of the phone interview. J&B were asking about his movies, nothing personal, and then to shake it up they decided to end the call with a random question. He’s probably doing like 50 phone interviews in the next 24hrs, why not make it interesting. Here’s an excerpt:

Bender - ‘…the most expensive thing on ebay is an autographed picture of you for 69 dollars. Is that worth it?’
Cage - (sigh) That’s totally up to you. (Another annoyed sigh)
Bender - ‘Uh, there you go, done. Hey before you split would you do the ‘Hey it’s Nicolas Cage and I too have wasted my time with jackie and bender?’
Cage - (Annoyed pause) I’m not going to do that. (sigh…he sighed a lot)
Awkward pause.
bender - ‘…Uh thanks for the time.’
Cage - ‘Thanks for having me. Alright, buh bye’ (Click)

I even called up and was like ‘What the fuck was that?’ They were completely caught off guard.

Bender - ‘Wait, was I rude to him?’
Jubal - ‘Oh yeah. You asked about his movie. That’s rude.’

They said they had him on last year and he was completely different. It was a total 180. What a dick. I’m not watching his movies anymore. I told Catherine this in the car on the way to her first day of school and she said.

‘Well I am.’

Damn her and free will.
