Woman bleeds to death in the hallway outside her apartment, brutally mauled by her neighbors aggressive 140+ lbs dogs.

[INDENT]Convicted of second-degree murder by a California jury after her 140-pound dog mauled a neighbor to death in their apartment building’s shared hallway, former San Francisco attorney Marjorie Knoller later had her crime reduced to involuntary manslaughter by the judge in the case.

But another judge today reinstated the second-degree murder conviction, putting Knoller on a path toward a substantial prison sentence, reports the San Francisco Chronicle. She could be sentenced to 15 years to life at a hearing next month.

I remember this 7 years ago when the owner of the dogs pretty much blamed the woman for getting mauled. She said she helped her (didn’t call 911, didn’t get a weapon, didn’t tend to the woman’s wounds) but left her to die, alone, in the hallway.

Both she and her husband were convicted of murder, it was then kicked down to involuntary manslaughter and NOT ONCE did they show any remorse of this woman dying. Oh they did for their dogs, but not for the woman.



Good riddance to a fucking heartless…well…lawyer. =x
