This is streaming on netflix right now. I give it a weak 3 out of 5 stars due to the weirdness of the movie. It's not fluid, really, until you realize that the 3 different story lines have a kind of unbelievable collision which leaves you a little mystified that you watched the entire movie to begin with. Don't get me wrong, it's a fairly interesting movie - the city CGI is amazing, but Ryan Phillipe can't really carry the movie, at least not until the aforementioned storyline converges.
Basically it starts off in an imaginary city where you meet the main character, Mr. John Priest. Next you meet dude - hell I can't even remember his name, who has just been dumped by his fiancee at like the last possible minute. Then you meet Emilia, a tortured (literally) artist who is trying to come to terms with her bizarre relationship with her estranged mother. Finally you meet the father who is looking for his son that you pretty much gather is 'away' some where but is on his way with a day pass to visit said father. It slips from one world to the next, not altogether fluidly, but again - it's fairly interesting.
Really, a weak 3 out of 5, but only if you're bored, like I was, and didn't feel like watching another Katherine Hiegel romantic comedy. =/

I just watched this this morning on Amazon Prime. I liked it, tho I do agree the stories going back and forth was rather jarring. I would honestly love to have seen the whole story play out in Meanwhile City myself :D

Almost as cool as Optimus Prime!
I'm still sorting through the free movies. I haven't noticed this one yet, but I suppose I'll end up watching it when I get there. I mean, it's free, so... I've been watching some pretty bad movies lately :X

LoL Yeah I was going thru them this morning looking for something to watch and stumbled on it. I would like another series to watch now that I went thru the whole six seasons of Highlander, but so far haven't found anything in the free stuff that interests me much other than some of the movies.
