Help..paypal/website issue

Wasn't sure where to post this .. but I got a problem. Ok I did a commission for a lady and she paid me via her paypal account to my paypal account. All went through no problems and I received the payment. Then 2 days later I got an email from paypal stating the funds were on hold because "A review of recent transactions indicates that you might have received a payment that the PayPal account holder did not authorize."

So I went to paypal and did what they asked about transaction stuff..told the lady to check her paypal as well cause there was a problem. Well turns out she had some unauthorized payments made on her account from Skype and eharmony. So paypal is looking into it all.

Question is.. is it because of a problem at my side (ei website not being SSL, firewall, etc) or could there be an issue with her side? If it is on my side, how do I go about making my site secure so this doesn't happen again to folks? :(

Thanks for any help!

It doesn't sound like it has anything to do with your side of the transaction. Especially if the problems are coming from two other companies. Try emailing paypal and asking them if it is on your end, but honestly I've never heard of anything like that before.

she probably gave someone her password or answered a spoof email. unless her kid/husband/boyfriend/mother/brother/sister is using her computer too and she left her password in the paypal fields.

Hmm ok. So chances of it being my fault from my website is slim? I just got another email from the lady and now her bank account (which I guess is connected to her paypal account?) is now like $145 overdrawn. I'm gonna contact paypal myself and see wtf is going on cause this isn't cool. :x
