yeah when they said they where gonna cast her last year i lost all manner of interest =/
I'm sorry there are more people better suited for the part imho. She barely passes as full "Li-ish" with Li's background and such.
I honestly think that Yifei Liu would have been a nice pick, or Bingbing Li .. shes atleast half way there hehe

I just can't watch Kristin Kreuk. I keep hearing about how hawt she is, but I can't help but feel like I'm watching my older sister (wouldn't know it now, but she really reminds me of my sis in high school).
As for the trailer itself, I was having a discussion about it last night with a friend with a filmmaking background. I'm a little sick of the way they always pair action scenes in trailers with semi-operatic crescendos.
Chorus of sopranos: "aaaaaa-Aaaaaaa-AAAAAAAA-AAAAAAAHHHHHH... Ah. Ah. Ho. Ha. Hee. Ha. Ho. Hee..."
Sure, the contrast was a smooth effect the first 1 or 20 times it was used in an action commercial. Now it just feels like all the directors have a Messiah complex and think they are artistic geniuses, but all they're doing is rehashing the same old stuff.
Capcom needs to remember Street Fighter's roots and just make a popcorn movie about a tournament. Screw the backstories. You'd think they'd remember the horrible mess the first live action movie was. Or, maybe that's why it's a Japanese trailer. Did they maybe get someone with experience doing one of the successful Street Fighter anime projects to work on the storyline? It'll still be tripe, but it'll be better tripe.
