Lost season premiere

I know I'm one of the very few people who hasn't seen an episode of this show, but someone's been watching it behind me all night. They showed a preview of next week's show (the season premiere), and which involved two of the survivors getting attacked outside an apartment. Someone got tossed over the balcony, and yelled as he fell to his death.

Did anyone else see that preview? The yell was a very common stock sound that I've heard in other productions over the years, but it wasn't the Wilhelm scream. It was obviously done as a joke, because it didn't fit well with the scene. Now I'm trying to figure out if that sound has a name, but I can't remember any particular instance of it being used... just that I've been hearing it for years.

In the beginning of Queensryche's 'Operation Mindcrime' album, it starts off with the main character in a hospital. There's an announcement right before the monologue - 'Dr. XX. Telephone, please. Dr. Xx, telephone please.' I can't remember the doctors name, but I swear in every hospital movie or tv show I have ever seen, they use the same exact voice/line. I've probably heard it in a dozen different things. It's weird.

I wonder if there was an industry standard for announcement recordings back when overhead paging was the common practice. Where I worked, they don't page doctors verbally since everyone carries pagers. If you ever heard a "Dr. ____, [location]" announcement, it was always a code for something else. Dr. Red is a fire, Dr. Blue is someone not breathing, Dr. Fleet is someone collapsed, etc.
